The shadow from the petals (?) and the stamens are beautiful, they add structure to the flower I think.
I like the background (the iron table) of this one too, although it is less pronounced (which I personaly liked better on the previous one). But on the other hand, this one has no distracting background (the gound underneath the table), as was a little with the other.
All in all, I like both, but this one looks, well, a little more professional or something.
